You can program that.
I found that having sunroof on the same chain, however, was an inconvenience (easy to forget)

Thanks so much doodman for this list. I am going down in the AM to pick up my new 4runner, and I'm going to hit them with this list before I take ownership. Seems like it makes sense to have it set up to my liking right away.

Did you program it with the Carista app, or have the dealer do it? I just double checked my 2016 TEP, same as yours, and it does the four side windows, but does not do the sunroof. I used the Carista app. Weird...

All i want is for all the doors to unlock with one push of the button on the key fob. Members of my family just cant wait for that second chirp. I took it in and the dealer said it was doable but didn't know how to change it? Idiots. This also drives me nuts on the 2016 Tacoma and 2015 Prius

If you ALWAYS get in the habit of QUICKLY tapping unlock twice - it is basically instant. Better yet - hit it 3-5 seconds earlier when you are still well within RF range. The vocal members of your family will not have ANY room for complaint then! This small action will become unconscious to you after a week...
It is rare that any of my passengers ever encounter a locked door on my T4R. I admit it does happen on occasion (mainly from back-seat passengers that are INSIDE my truck trying to get OUT :happy: ) - but generally my fault (and I do prefer to ONLY have the driver's door open when I'm solo - as it saves wear and tear on the other lock actuators and gives me the 0.000000001% sense of safety knowing if someone was chasing me or whatever - I could unlock/enter my T4R only from my driver's door if I want to

I traded in my Taco, but I'm pretty sure this is programmable through the nav. I set mine up this way and I think it's under settings in there. Anyway, small rant......took mine in to the dealer to get re-programmed. They said it will be 50 bucks and they're not sure they can do it. Called my old dealer where I bought my Taco and the service advisor (female and cool) said come on over and we'll do it. I won't charge you. Unreal.

I know this is a old post, could someone point me in the right direction to find a current version of these options 2016 TRD PRO
Is it possible to hit the lock button on the key while the car door is still open and have it be locked when the door is shut? I've had this feature in other vehicles and it is handy since you can lock the door, load up your arms then shut the door while your hands are occupied.
I've tried this a number of times with my '16 SR5 but the door is unlocked when I check it.

Can the headlights be set for ON/OFF with ignition? (Like every other Toyota I have owned.)
I have been finding the headlight auto off function to be quite annoying. If I park the vehicle and leave any door open, the headlights will stay on indefinitely.

newbie / noobie here.....hope there's help for me.......2 week owner of a 2017 limited that unlocks all doors in park...... tried the reset mode numerous times...called toyota, Erin read the page to me, uh I have it printed from the PDF manual.....dealer said 69.95 to reset.....Gee thanks just spent 45k and you want 70$....smart system / stopwatch 5 secs / ignition on / acc mode / and even tried with car running / in P / in N......no change to any function. saw Carista device mentioned a few times might order one. TIA for any assistance.....Bill in Pgh PA.
