We are on La Palma quite a bit. What color is your TE? I have seen a white SR5 around town with black molding, unless its you and you painted the body white?

About 7 month's ago, I went to Monache Meadows with [MENTION=54126]Dlak[/MENTION]
My favorite camping trip of all times!! Monache is in the sequoia national forest.
About 10 miles of the drive is pretty rough and will need 4x4 at some point.

I am considering the switch from 20 inch OEM Limited wheels on my 2012 4R to 18x8 and adding bigger tires. Am leaning toward the KMC stitch in black. I noticed the Stitch comes in a couple of different offsets. What is the offset on your wheels and how are they working out for you? Also, who did you order them from? Thanks for any help.

Stock wheels are
OEM 20" wheels offset is +12
7 inch wide rim with a 4.5" backspace
When I purchased my wheels, I don't recall more than one offset option but now I see there are 2 options for 18x8. You want the 15 off set, that is fairly close to stock.
I ordered them from discount tires direct. No tax, no shipping.PM me for the price if you want to know what I paid.
Also purchased the road hazard, which if you get an un-repairable flat, they will ship one out to you no questions asked, obviously you would have to ship back the old tire.
I like them a lot actually. I love the combo of wheels and tires. They have served me well in all terrain and conditions. I don't rock climb, that would be best with 17's. I think they look great in 275 size, though it did hit my gas millage with about 1 to 1.5 MPG.. So that's something to consider. Paint has been holding up fine and all the caps are still on, almost had them for 2 years..

P.S. I did want to add that it took the tire shop about 3 times to properly balance the wheels/tires.
I had to go back and have them sit in the car to feel the vibration, around 60 MPH. Be conscious of that.

I have been reading up different post and reviews on how to mount a tablet for rear seat viewing. I was going to go with a traditional headrest with TV's but decided against it.
My solution is not expensive high end BMW grade mounts for the tablet. I also wanted to keep my tablet case that I already had so I started looking into a velcro solution.
Here's what I cam dup with, purchased this strap
Amazon.com: TFY Vehicle Headrest Velcro-Strap (Black) - Accessory for TFY Car Headrest Mount: Car Electronics
It wraps around the head rest and is secured with velcro:

Using 2 strips of velcro that attaches to any table case, found at home depot.
Velcro 4 in. X 2 in. Industrial StrengthStrips 2 Pack-90199 at The Home Depot
My solution is not expensive high end BMW grade mounts for the tablet. I also wanted to keep my tablet case that I already had so I started looking into a velcro solution.

Finally got around to replacing the old dinky skid with a TE gas skid thanks to [MENTION=90395]Sundog7121[/MENTION] donation.
As I was finishing up wrenching the last bolt by the drive shaft, I was literaly 2 rounds from finishing, the wrench fell IN THE SKID plate :doh: :uzi: :doh: I had to undo all the bolts and start again. That was a nightmare, thank God my neighbor had had a 12 wrench for me to borrow.
After I sanded what I can out of the little hair line rust spots, I did about 4 coats of rostuleom bed liner:
Since I didn't have a jack to prop up the gas tank, used up some amazon shipping boxes to held the skid in place (wife always complains about how I keep them, lOOK AT ME NOW!!) lol
Finished job... so pretty, for now:
