Locking gas cap?

I've searched the forum, and can't find mention of a locking gas cap for the 4th Gen models.

Can someone point me in the right direction if there is such a thing?

Well, I did get the Stant, and it looks like it will work ok for a deterrent.

But I guess the cool little tether cord can't work with the new cap, right?

And other than ripping it off, I can't see how to un-tether the tether from the compartment door. Any advice?

Can't say, I don't have a locking gas cap, I just did a search for what you were looking for.

No ideas about a non-destructive way to remove the stock gas cap teather from the door?

It just clips into the hole so you should be able to pop it back out. I bought a replacement cap for mine because the original tether was broken and it just pushed into a hole in the gas door, so I’d assume removing it isn’t too hard

the first thing i've ever done with every vehicle i've owned that had a tether on the gas cap is rip it off and throw it in the trash at the gas pump during my first fill up. those shits are annoying.
