Looking at a '13 Trail

Found a sweet low mileage 2013 Trail edition a few hundred miles from me. I think the price is high, their 'internet price' is $33,4k. I ran Edmunds to see how close they were and Edmund says $28-29. Since they are a highly demanded, low availability vehicle, do we think this is a good deal? Seeing that the dealer is 3+ hrs from home, haggling face to face isn't a quick drive. I don't need advice on what to do, just wondering about price. Mileage is 16, almost 17k. It has kdss, entune, moon roof etc.

That actually seems like a common price for a 2013 Trail based on what I've seen, but keep in mind that for the same price or a another $1000 you could find yourself in a newer 2014.

If you don't like the look of the new 2014 models and the 2013 you're looking at is the color you want, then I say go for it. Haggle a little. Most sales managers want the truck to be sold that day. If you sit in their lobby with the salesman and tell them that you'll buy the car at ___ price, they'll eventually come down and make the deal. That tactic hasn't failed me yet.

I just paid that for my 2014 new in September. It was low mileage too. It had 2 miles. It doesn't have KDSS but I didn't want it. Much like x-reas, it is just an expensive repair down the road. I already removed my front sway bar.

Price seems high. Paid $37K for my brand new '14 Trail Premium last year. I'd get the price down to around $29.5-$30K max or keep looking. Good luck!
