Looking at the 2007 4Runner

Wow, those are great looking seats. Where did they put the controls for the heaters?

So the other vehicle is an Xterra? I rented one last month when I was out in Tahoe. I was really impressed. Being a former Nissan owner too I expected a fun driving vehicle, but had never been in one. The 261hp 4.0 they are putting in them now never slowed down in the mountains and it was smooth and very comfortable. It is hard to beat for the price.

Thanks, and the controls for the seats was a major dissappointment last night. We were told that the controls would be on the center console, what we got last night were controls on the seat skirt forward of the power seat controls. We were not happy and told them so. This morning the sales manager that said that the controls would be on the console, called me and assured me it would be corrected next week. They are ordering new plastic seat skirts and they will install the new skirts and move the controls next week. We are very happy again, pleased actually with the phone call this morning

PS... As for the XTerra, we couldn't be happier with that vehicle either. We bought them the first year they came out, yes a tad down on power from these new models but still a great truck. Zero trouble with it

We brought it home last night and I snapped a few pictures on the leather seats. I will be doing this for my XTerra now, the Katzkins seats are great.

Looks great! Were the door panels/inserts done too? I can't really tell.

Thanks, no the panels stay the same for now. I need to spend some time in the vehicle to get a feel for it before my creative juices start to flow. But the panels matching sounds like a great idea

Just spent the last hour in the drivers seat in the driveway. Laced up the black and blue leather steering wheel cover. I can definately see the lower portion of the doors(silver/gray plastic areas) being covered in blue leather to match. Maybe even the glove box and under the steering wheel too. Lot's for me to start working on :artist:

Wow, if you cover the glove box and the lower dash panel under the steering, your 4Runner will be like a LS460.

Maybe a contrast stitching for the door panels? I've seen a few SE's in the area, probably same leather kit from a particular dealer, black leather with with white stitching on the seats and door panel. It looked good.
