Looking at TireRack for reasonable tires - 2WD

Considering the Yokohama Geolander H/T-S and the Continental CrossContact LX. Does anyone have any experience with either one or can you recommend a reasonably priced alternative? I have the Bridgestone H/T now and have never been real fond of any Briodgestone product.

Yokohama is a good company and makes great tires...i would go with them.

Size - stock 265-65-17
Driving Style - 90+% on road...no 'off roading' but an occasional jaunt around a lke or through a new neighborhood, etc.
I used to drive fairly aggressively but that is mostly over due to trying to save gas.
Budget is fairly low. It just kills me to be looking at a set of tires(5 of them) for nearly $1,000. These are available from tire rack for about $700 delivered but not installed.

If you're sticking to stock size I would only bother getting four tires, especially if the new tires are effectively the same type (mainly on-road, for example) as the old ones.

I'm not getting the 5th tire because I want to. I am doing it because I have to. I feel like I have tempted fate for far too long now. I have been without a spare for over a year (nearly 27,000 miles). This was the result of an incident (I posted) regarding creating an email on my Blackberry while driving about 50MPH off a road and over a curb. Fortunately, this was the extent of the damage (except a re-alignment). The 4R only had about 4,000 miles on it at the time. A lesson learned....
