Looking for deeper sound and more HP

Hey guys,

So I've got to admit that I don't know much about auto mechanics (at all...) so I need some help with this one.

I have a '97 SR5. I want to get a deeper sound out of it and some extra HP.

What would be my best bang-for-your-buck option? I don't want to spend a ton of money. Also, I really want it to be a deeper sound, not necessarily just louder.

Air intake? Muffler mod?

Any tips and/or product links are much appreciated.

if you have a budget look up the deckplate mod. if you wanna spend some money i personally recomend volant, afe, TRD intakes. if your looking for intakes make sure it a closed box or has a heat shield. the open ones may suck hot air and that gives you 0 horse power but youll get the low tone want. :biggrin2:

K&N intake kit gives you deep sound. sounds good and improved my acceleration.
