Guys, I completely understand your want for a better alternative... but this is just one of those things that's just best kept OEM.
Take it from someone whose had to go through multiple aftermarket door strippings/carpets/interior parts for a 92... OEM guarantees a perfect fit and function.
You can always try, but from my experience, it's never a perfect OEM replacement. There's always something wrong.
This is definitely a case of, "You get what you pay for."
the best deal is to hit the pick n pull and grab the passenger side stuff. it's usually like new... I know these rigs are getting older and that things are getting harder to find.... but last time I grabbed 2x passenger side ones and replaced both of mine.
As in you were able to put a front passenger seal on the driver side? They are different part numbers for L/RH but that would be handy to know.
