Looking for feedback on BFG K02 tires....or others..

Anyone have any info on Duratracs vs KO2? I've had some difficulty finding a good comparison of the two. Looking for on road, mud and snow differences...

Oh man...those are probably the 2 most debated ones...just post in a couple different gen threads and you will get your answer.
Good reads. Seems like the Duratrac's get alot of love for snow driving. Need to look more into those and the Falken AT3Ws.

KO2 vs. Duratracs
From the plethora of information I've read, it seems Duratracs perform better in snow.
KO2 are beefier and have tougher sidewalls and if you offroad with sharp objects KO2's would be better.
Generally, I've read more positive remarks about KO2 than Duratracs. To each their own:tea:

I love my Dura's. They are pretty darn loud now, and will go another route in Oct when DT has the Ebay sale. I have almost 60k on two of them, they are the louder ones. 2 others have been certificate swapped from nails at DT. They have performed flawlessly and great in rain/snow. I don't wheel so can't speak on that.
Next tire choices are Ridge Grap in C, or KO2 which only comes in E.

ive never ran the Duratracs, but I find it hard to believe they can outperform the BFG's in snow. I run in the snow a LOT, and have yet to find the traction lacking with the BFG's. never a reason to even consider a different tire.
if that is the case, it would be very impressive!

Yea, I've never ran duratracs before so I can't speak for those statements. Just what I've read. I run BFG's and love em. Great in snow/ice/mud/rocks/whatever object you throw at em. They don't give me a reason to switch tires :reddance:

I did that for a few minutes, the threads I found generally led to bullshit arguments and nothing really being stated or argued/tested. Thnx tho

Buy what you want. I beat the hell out of BFG T/A KO's on my 3rd gen on and off road for many tens of thousands of miles and never had a flat so I went back to them on my 4th, so far so good. I didn't want E-Load so the KO2 size options were disappointing, went with skinny 255/75/17's and I think they're fine. With a lift they might look a little sheepish but they're functional, quiet as stock, and durable. I ran the stock Duellers for years and had 2 or 3 flats on-road.
