The thread title says it all.
The PO of my 2004 4Runner thought it was a good idea to attach a bunch of the self adhesive chrome trim.
What I'm looking at removing are the pcs that were added to the Door Pillars as well as an incredibly tacky fuel door cover. I dont mind the door handles that much but it may be sionara to them as well....
Its all cheapo ebay stuff thats applied with 3M double sided tape. (see photo below)
I'm thinking of using some light heat to warm up the adhesive and slowly / carefully peeling them off..
Once off, im sure that the 3M will leave some residue so, maybe Goof-Off? or something similar?
So, if you have experience in removing tacky / gaudy bling from one of your rides, please chime in with some advice.
