Thanks. I've always thought more tread on the road would provide better traction. But bigger gaps for better control. ?? I've had wet weather issues also. That's why I'm looking into a different tire.

Generally, yes. But one of the biggest factors for traction is the rubber compound used, and the sipes -- the tiny cuts in the blocks of rubber. The sipes add edges that can grab the road better.
Some use a hard rubber compound to have the tires wear longer, but that makes them slippery in the wet. Sometimes its a balancing act, but some manufactures are better than others, or they may a proprietary rubber compound not available to others.
they are 3-Peak rated and stock size C loads should be in stock sometime next month.

I have a friend who has done a lot of wheeling (lives out of his 4runner most of the year) and he has them and doesn’t like them. 2 sidewall punctures in 6 months. Never had one with any other tire. But that’s just the one guy I know with them

I've tried many top tier manufactures and find the new Alabama Nokian Plant is making a new Nokian Outpost n-AT - Great Wet weather, noise, vibration, road handling. Wet traction (my Summer Tires) braking is the challenge.
Overall: 10/10 in all ways. Replaced OEM Nitros

I have cooper at3 4s that i've put oh 40-some-odd thousand miles on so far and still have a ton of tread left (they are starting to sing a bit now). snowflake rated, good in rain, and they have been excellent in the light off roading I've done
I’m waiting for the same size in KO3’s but I’m not sure when they will release that size . C’s for sure but no E for me .

I bought my second set of Kenda Klever R/T for around 750 for 4 of eBay. I buy premium tires for the fleet I look after at work ie, K02's Wildpeaks, and Opencountrys. Specifically with Toyo open country A/T's, I have noticed poor performance in mud as expected with an A/T.
I digress The Kendas that I have purchased have been nothing but excellent. They balance well, have close to zero Road noise, and last a long time, especially for the price.
As I said I have nothing but great things to say about these tires and I encourage you to consider these before paying much more for a set of name-brand tires.

265/70/17 C are scheduled for release in August as mentioned in post #23

I contacted BFG customer service and was told that it will be a D and not a C being released in late summer. I specifically asked about size 265/70/17 C and was told no plans for that size in 2024 .
Very interesting, thank you. Distributor sites have now changed 265/70/17 load C availability to August 2025, don't show D as an option and BFG never offered a D load in that size for KO2s.

I guess we will have to wait and see. That is going to change my plans as I am going to replace my KO2s before this winter and was planning on giving KO3s a try.

I popped a Toyo RT Trail E-load after I got them installed a couple months before, wasn't even that crazy of an obstacle either. I've ran KO2s, ridge grapplers, milestar patagonias, and Mickey Boss ATs... and this was the first time ever experiencing a puncture. Pretty disappointing to say the least. Safe to say I went back to Discount and bought the certificates after that puncture.
I also had the same size KO2’s as you and mine started getting loud at 20K miles . I never had any trouble with them in wet weather like some people have .
That's about where I am at, 23K and getting louder over the past couple thousand. Mine are almost 6 years old though too so hardening in the compound is a likely contributor as well.

K02's on wet streets
I have K02's and love them on the dirt but I have posted before my 4R rear slides a bit going around a corner even at slow speeds. I'll be looking for an alternative. I know many say they don't have this issue, a few have experienced it though.
