You're weren't too far at all. Been quite a while since my McDevitt days too, LOL. The school in Bryn Athyn, is that part of the Pitcaryn "complex" over there? (not really sure what the proper term would be)

Yup, the Pitcairn land was mostly the Cathedral, the Glencairn museum, and a couple of other building. The school was right across the street on land the Pitcairns donated.

Considering the HS only had about 175 students when I went there, we didn't play McDevitt for any sports. We played Jenkintown, Abington Friends, Friends Central, Friends Select, Hun School, Princeton Day School, St. Andrew's, and a bunch of other small schools.

Of course now, we're playing a lot more schools in basketball. When I played in 1988, we were ranked in the top 20 in Philly for a while. Now, they're ranked in the top 50 in the entire country from time-to-time. It's weird watching them play on ESPNU in some of these big tournaments.

I think it was high 70's here today. Went mountain biking in a sleeveless jersey. Heading to Death Valley next Thursday cause high 70s is too cold. :uzi:

Turned out to be more of a slush storm than anything. Nasty this morning though, all iced over. Just did a 180 and wound up on a median on my way to run a 5K this morning. News is reporting black ice accident everywhere.

I would love to know how Mud Terrains do in the snow!

Too bad they dont make a version of Mud terrains with the center lugs siped.... That would be cooool!

I have to buy tires in the next month... not sure which way to go but I may buy the Crappy Tire Wrangler Territorys... I hear they are good in snow but way softer than the duratracs so they will wear out really fast... that sucks at 200 per tire.

My wife's Pathfinder, '05 SE OffRoad (which is a major piece of ****) has GY Wrangler RT/S on it, 35,000 miles on them so far and they're still pretty thick. Not sure how the ones you mentioned will do but the tires are about the only good thing on that POS.
