Wow, that's a lot of spammers! Sounds like it must take a considerable amount of time to delete them all....

It does, but Thai and Greg are doing their best to keep up with the spammers. Some sneak through, but the members are good at pointing them out and they are handled quickly.

Overall, though, I think most members would agree with Thai's comment:

I only care that this forum is informative and fair to facts/opinions stated.

Thanks to the members, I've learned a lot of new stuff and really appreciate the exchange of helpful information and good ideas.

I agree with Thai, i have been reading this forum for a long time. Allowing guests was a very smart move for the forum admin.

I love reading too, but I also try to give back and help out as much as possible in the same way that people have helped me. Hence almost 700 posts in one and a half months.

And damn Thai, that's a lot of spammers.

Thai/Greg ,not to be or sound stupid , but what do the spammers actually try to do when they come on here , sell stuff ? critisize ?

This website is excellent , I always find it amazing on how people become friends and help each other out , and yet would never know each other if they passed each other on the street.

I see just boatloads of 4R's here in Wi. both 3rd and 4th generations. I'm surprised there are only a few of us on here , like Benk & myself. I don't see many mods at all , mostly tire mods and /or a bolt on brush guard.

I personally don't care if there are repeat questions , since new idea's , new technology , new mods and fixes come to the forefront often. I guess if it bothered me , I just would not reply to read that , but everytime someone asks for tire advice I at least always read , try to learn, ect...

You guys have done a great job on this site , it would be fun to have a nation wide meeting with everyone but thats next to impossible.

Actually, Thai or GatorGreg writes us a Private message and asks us. Both jharris2 and myself both got in early and we were the first ones to get 100 posts and Thai asked us. Then later on we asked a few more members to become moderators. I think I have been a moderator for about 5 years. (I know, I need to get a life.)

We also have a separate sub-forum and we talk about the forum, like how to do the "infamous" April fools jokes. Also, Thai has written to me when I had a medical problem and help me through my options. I think jharris2 has met GatorGreg once, so we we are a pretty tight group. If you ever get asked, I think the rewards are worth it, of course my Wife would not agree with that last statement.

That there was only 8 months ago and it already in my book was an instant classic! Man, I thought that was going to tear this forum apart! I still remember it like yesterday, and when I don't I just go back and re-read the thread haha! I couldn't believe how many members threatened/anounced that that was there last post yadayadayada. Good stuff, I don't know how you guys plan to top taht this year.
