do you have the OEM crystal tail lights? i cant remember if the 2000's came with them. but if you do, those look great on their own!

No, I dont think they did that till 01. Maybe on the 99 and 00 Limiteds. I just want something like all black. And i would keep mine but ones broke and this pair of altezzas are about the same price as just one oem one.

As far as the tail lights go, like Ric said earlier, it's your money do with it what you want. I'm just not a fan of anything altezza makes (sorry Sloan). IMO, these type tails just don't look right on an suv. They make your suv go from looking like class to a$$.

i like them, im sceeeeerd of LED's (brake lights and blinkers) casue they mess up your abs sensor is it?? maybe yall can help me out?? but ya i heard tha those LED's throw all kinds of codes unless you have a resistor? i don't know it sounds so complicated! maybe someone can enlighten me, if the LED's didn't do anything id go those in a heartbeat.

I got these casue i wanted the back to be black. They say led but i dont care if they arent. Im gonna get the jaos spoiler pretty soon too.

If you were wanting to black out the back you should've got....

I really like those LED tails that Fo Sheezy posted. If i had a street 4Runner I would definitely buy those, but being that I'm more into offroading I can't justify spending $200+ on taillights when most likely I'm going to break one, then I gotta buy two more because I'm sure you can't just buy one LED taillight.

If it were me I would buy some spray tint and tint the stock tails, but again that's only because if you break em you aren't out a bunch of money.

Love those LEDs and they are a true improvement over OEM but I need sliders before lights but maybe if we get another Stimulus check.

That's a prime example why you should be very careful what you let your significant other purchase for your vehicle. Been there done that.

I do NOT let me wife purchase any accessory for my current 4Runner (that has still not kept her from asking though). I'm so picky about parts that go on my truck, if they're just a tad not to my liking, I'll return them.

By doing this, it definitely keeps feelings from getting hurt. :bigok:

Oh and if you're worried about her getting upset if you purchased the LED tails...well, there are ways around that.

I believe mine is Champagne, but very close. I would like to see the pics, where are they?

I already have the black wheels, black grill, black running boards, and am considering the black bug deflector and window vents... if all of that looks good, then why not add in the lights?

Saw them on a white 4Runner and they looked pretty good! But as for other colors, it's hard to say.
