Tomarrows the day that I get my 4runner back from a good friends exhaust shop. He's started chopping up the stock system today and found a few problems. The Cat had been gutted... Most of the joints had JB weld sealing up holes.
Any way.
He's removing the crossove and dropping down under the trans to Y into the pipe just befor the o2, so that it reads the same.
Up next on my list of projects is to remove the upper intake manifold and build a custom plenum that will bolt in its place to the stock lower.
Something like the attaced pic.
After all that is mocked-up, I'm going to pull out the engine and rebuild it from the bottom up.
