Makes sense. I'm just of the feeling that 1 is none and 2 is one. :driving:

So for me I would be purchasing an old beater pick up to use for hauling stuff. And keep the 4runner as my nicer/every day rig.

Good luck with the decision and if you do get a truck at least stick with Toyota. :cheer2:

When I moved out to the "country" in 2003 I also thought to myself that I needed a pickup truck. Sold my 1992 4R and bought a 2003 Nissan Frontier. Big mistake. Truck was a lemon and I sold it in 2009 after buying my 2008 FJ Cruiser.

I bought an enclosed utility trailer shortly after that, and over the years it has seen plenty of use. As long as I have that trailer I see no need for me to ever own a pickup truck again.

Sounds to me like a Tundra would fit the bill better than a Taco. If Tundra is too big, compare Taco w/ Frontier. I'm leery of any 1st year production.

I am getting my new 2015 trail premium this week to go with my 2 Chev HD2500 Duramax. I am thinking about ordering another dually Chev 3500 Duramax to go with my collection. I use them everyday in one form or fashion. Thought I would get the 4Runner as a special project and handy vehicle to use when my trucks are tied up.
