i noticed some confusion looking at the dealer parts site. don't know what "to 11/04" means. ...
Typically, that means the part is used on vehicles with a manufacturing/production date through Nov 2004.

Yeah that is odd. Not sure why there would be a difference but the PN I confirmed with my local dealer for an 08 V6 is the -35112.. So I guess that's in line with what I was able to find.
$969.33... Lolso what price are they quoting you for the -35112 assembly, is it the $320 or $620??
with the fuel tank topped off and the hesitation gone, i'm gong to run the tank down and determine where the hesitation starts. then i will top off again, and do the same. that will help me understand the situation a little better.
someone mentioned that the additional pressure created by a full tank is helping the pump function properly.
still no symptoms. out of the woods?
called "watchful waiting" in medicine.
Service the rest of your f_ckin truck! So many things can cause acceleration issues.. your not getting a code related to this issue so service your truck. Examples- throttle body and related sensors, blow injectors out clean, check spark plugs condition/gap. Vacuum leaks. 02 and a/f sensors may need checked. PCM inputs.. at least it's working right now though
nice to have you back in the conversation!
at 200k, did this:
Replaced rear differential fluid
Replaced front differential fluid
Replaced transfer case fluid
Replaced spark plugs (OEM)
Replaced serpentine belt (OEM)
lots of other stuff later , including:
cv axle
rear brakes including calipers
cat back exhaust plus Y pipe weld
full tranny fluid change
cleaned throttle body and MAF sensor
new tires!
maybe the techron i added in April is finally working its magic......
100 miles of highway driving, plus lots of local driving. zero hesitations. i think the issue is no longer. perhaps the MAF and throttle cleaning did something, or topping off the tank did it.
My $ is on cleaning the throttle body. I'm no mechanic but it stands to reason that if the butterfly valve is sticking then moving, some kind of consequence will reflect itself in engine performance.
