Low/High Beam Headlights not working

I have an issue I can't seem to figure out. Let me know if you guys have experienced a similar issue.

I am unable to turn on the headlights either on low or high beam. I can flash the high beams using the stalk but I get no indicator light in the cluster when it's in the on position. The DRL's are working just fine along with the parking lights, instrument lights, turn signals and brake lights etc....

Troubleshooting so far:

Replaced both headlights with brand new ones
Replaced headlight relay from another working car
Verified all headlight fuses are good

I'm tired of driving around using only DRL's.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you check the little 7.5A DRL fuse? If that blows, you are stuck in DRL mode. I suggest swapping for a known good fuse--don't tell me "it looked fine". I get cranky when people do that.

If that's not it, time to get a 12V test light and do some troubleshooting. Let me know when you're ready. Or just ask for guesses on the net, that's always fun, too.

If you want to troubleshoot, you'll need this:

Replace the headlight stalk.

Takes about 10-15 minutes and costs about $37 for an aftermarket.
I had trouble with my brights not working at all unless I flashed them. Replaced stalk, worked perfectly.

I'm having some headlight issues myself, No power to the headlight relay is my issue. No low beams or high beams, no power at the headlight sockets. No high beam light on the dash, is this my stalk? 96 4runner no DRL edit: I have checked both head light fuses 10A, replaced both still nothing.

Could be the stalk, and that's also my best guess. Probably should check it with your multimeter. If you're getting power to the stalk but nothing out of it, then that's more than likely your issue.

ya the stalk is the cheapest item to replace minus the fuses. Ya' I should just get a meter on that. Thanks

My brights stopped working and it was my combination switch (stalk) was cheap enough aftermarket on amazon ( around $40ish? ), and easy to install. Also being amazon you can always return it if it doesn't fix the issue. So worth a try.

No power to the headlight fuses, at my relay I have 11.94 on one side and only 9.6 on the other for the headlight relay.
