Low profile XM (shark fin) antenna swap

For reference, I have a 22' TRD Pro.

Bringing this thread back up, as I currently have an iKamper Skycamp 3.0 installed and have zero XM signal. I bought a magnetic XM stand alone unit and an antenna adapter, in hopes that I can just pull the radio and plug the adapter into the back of the radio and the other end into the XM unit to just mount it on my dash.

Has anyone had experience with that? Is it as simple as it sounds? I'd prefer to not have to cut into the shark fin unit and pull that apart, as I already have my Westcott roof rack and iKamper tent mounted.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Having combed the thread, I had high hopes for doing this on my 2014 Limited. But it has a combination I haven't seen before: The rounded 3-pin blue connector with all the wires connected to the vehicle side. Other posters had shown that connector on their fin but had only 1 wire connected to the vehicle.

It's a fully optioned car - JBL audio, nav, XM, safety connect. I suspect, though I have not checked, that the inside of the sharkfin looks like the ones posted above with 2 chips and a fin antenna.

So far all the compatible antennas posted have the square connectors. This is fine, I can crimp some connectors, but my concern is losing GPS. Do any of the square connector antennas have more than 1 wire output, or are they just the one?
