Lower Control Arm Bushings, which make/type?

I've got a 55 ton press at work, thinking that will make short work of it.
That will work, you'll need to build a jig so you don't bend the control arm.

I went with OEM bushings, get some steel wool to clean up the bushing housing.

In my opinion the oem press in bushings are better because they're engineered by the people who built the truck, and they are one solid piece each. I don't like the idea of sliding in squeaky rubber and hoping. Also, OEM don't squeak. Buying the bushings saved me $700 over buying new LCAs.

With poly you have to reuse the old metal parts in your old bushings. Being in Canada I'll guess that's a non starter as the metal in your bushings have been eaten away by salt and rust

I'm actually going to put a set of Moogs in my 07 next weekend.

All I hear is squeak squeak

I’d recommend getting new cam alignment bolts all around if you’re planning on removing your LCA’s. They have a tendency to seize to the bushing, causing one to have to use torch/sawzall/air hammer to remove them.

Don't buy these from Toyota though: don't even ask what they cost from a dealer.

Salt is some nasty stuff huh?
