Lower grill insert removal

Has anyone found a positive way to remove the lower grill insert in order to place a light bar inside that area.
This would be the area where the license plate bolts and covers. Most are the black color. I don't want to cut this out in case there comes a time where I want to re install the grill piece.

Any positive feed back or how to's would be appreciated.

you have to cut it out as far as i know if you have an 03-05

I think [MENTION=77471]kevinpt[/MENTION] is right. When I had mine apart their appeared to be a way to unclip it, but couldn't figure it out. I ended up just cutting mine. Make sure you use a fresh blade.

It is not removable without cutting. Looks like it is because of those clips the last post^^^ mentioned, but those are for the lower part underneath the grill opening.



The silver painted part is removable, but you have to take the bumper off to get to a few nuts in addition to the clips. The grill is in fact part of the bumper, sorry.
