LR UCAs ball joints different?

Just got these in the mail today and I was looking through the box and noticed that the ball joints looked different. Is this normal?

Yes, they are a special adjustable Ball Joint that only work with the LR UCAs.

Do you have the Light Racing UCAs these go in to? Pretty sure they aren't a factory ball joint replacement.

its adjustable in the sense of how you install them. That offset will add or subtract caster depending on the position you install it.

Yeah I pulled them out of the box. They're LR ball joints...waiting to install on Friday!

Thanks for clarifying. I guess what I mean by the picture was, one looks straight and the other looks bent, I wasn't sure if THAT was normal. I've seen some pictures and googled around, I'm a noob so I'm not sure if something is right.

no, the one isn't bent. this is a joint that is intended to articulate. it may require some force, but you can move them around by hand if you try.

I just replaced mine a few weeks ago, and those look perfectly normal. One of them is just in a different position than the other. You can move them around. I also would encourage you to ADD grease to the inside of the joint boots prior to installing. But be really CAREFUL not to cut the boot when you are removing the boot clamp ring to get in there. My truck rode better after replacement and the old ones were definitely rusty and worn out after about 45k miles. Another thing is to get the correct ball joint separator. I used one that was oriented vertically, and it required me to disconnect an extra bolt. If you get the one that goes in horizontally from the outside inwards, then you won't have to do that extra step.
