I came across this site, The Lug Shack, and was wondering if anyone has had any experience in dealing with them? Im looking into ordering these lugs posted below. Is the size and seating surface right?

Ive read that McGard lugs are solid and covered against chipping and rust. Thanks in advance!
I've used and am currently running McGard lug nuts and am very pleased with them. They are holding up awesome and they're one of the largest OEM lugnut manufacturers that I know of.

Just make sure you are ordering the correct type lug nuts for your wheel. If you are still using the oem alloy wheels, then you need the shank type lug nuts with washers. The ones you have the link to are the 'acorn' type of lug nut with the angle cut mating surface between the wheel and lug nut. Most steel wheels use the acorn type lug nut.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm still running the 17" 4Runner Sport rims so I'm guessing that these won't work. Just so I have the thread size straight, I need the M12x1.5 right?

I'm basically just looking for a black style lug nut that will work with our stock 17" Sport Rims. I had my rims powder coated black awhile ago and the chrome lugs just stand out too much, esp. with my 4Runner being black, as well. Is anyone using black lugs?

Check this link out for more black lugnuts.I have aftermarket wheels with black lugnuts and looks clean without drawing attention to them, say if they were chrome. My experience with black lug nuts is regardless how careful you are the lug wrench will wear the edges when mounting and dismounting your wheels. One trick is just use a black permanent marker for touch ups.http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/4runnertoyblackalloys.htm

Why not just get your set power coated black, or get another oem set and have them done?
