Lug Nuts?

Hey guys. I own a 1993 T4R and I just bought factory wheels and tires from the owner of a 2013 T4R. They are the 17" wheels. I was wondering what type of lug nuts come on the 2013. Are they shank style or acorn style? I have the acorn style that came with the wheels and tires that I'm replacing, and the guys at firestone said that they needed to be shank style or the wheels won't be centered properly. Now, that doesn't sound right since we all have hub-centric wheels for all generations (of course this was information that came from my wifes mouth because thats what they told her when she took it in to get an alignment done for me after i put them on). So, do I need shank style with the 2013 wheels or will acorn do the job? Thanks for the help!

I don't know the proper name of it, but they are the ones that have the built-in washers. Definitely not the acorn ones. You probably want to get the kind with the washers because that's how the lug nuts are supposed to clamp down on the OEM wheels, acorn nuts might come loose over time because the wheel will not have the appropriate mating lug nut seat?

I dont think "shank style" is the correct term but I know what you mean. Yes you will need that style lugnuts on the 2013 wheels. I have plenty at the shop and can hook you up if your close enough

That would be awesome! I would be more than happy to come pick them up. I went to the stealership to get a price on the shank style and I couldn't afford them. If you tell me where to go I'll come by and grab them, just tell ne how much you want for them. I bought some from O'Rielly auto parts and they were too long (the would bottom out on the hubs). I live in Yorktown but I do a lot of traveling to visit family, go backpacking, etc, so driving a ways to grab them isn't a problem.
