Lund Oval Nerf Bar Help!!!

Hey Folks.
After reading a lot of posts...I thought I did all of my homework and ordered Black oval Lund nerf bars for my 08 limited 4runner. I bought part # 271020. 70 inch step bars. then I bought the mounting brackets. Part # 300027. I took the old running boards off yesterday. all the new stuff arrived today. I am now looking at the brackets and they are NOT right. I called LUND. they said, "we don't make running boards that will fit your truck." Ugh. So now I am totally confused and doubting everything I read here.

Can anyone offer any help?

Just a thought...but could I use the brackets that are part of the OEM running boards?

LUND customer service DID say that they make a mounting bracket kit for the Tundra? is that what I should have ordered?

I just mounted some Lund oval boards last friday, some that I bought from a member here. Take a pic of the brackets and I'll see if they look like mine.

Mine fit great.

Better yet. Who did you buy yours from? Might they know what part number they are? Mine definitely wrong. Woman at LUND called back. Mine are intended for a Ford F150. Errrrrrr.

I bought them from Gaterose, not sure on the part number though.

Funny I almost deleted the thread when I sold them,but I thought, "what if someone needs those part numbers?"
