made a custom exhaust.....

i cut the oem muffler out and placed a flowmasters 44 series muffler in. im not completely done yet, but it should be finished tomorrow or thursday. idk if i like it tons but i do like it somewhat, im toying around with the sound and piping right now :shrug: . heres and video of it now. (this was my first attempt welding lol, the second pipe is only tacked on because i dont know if im going to end up using it or not)

Sounds pretty deep for a V6! Almost sounds like a V8. I like it better than the more common tuner high pitched sound! I say weld on a tail pipe with tip and finish the welds and keep it! :thumb3:
 
i was going to make it go out the side with a chrome oval tip, but if i ever get stuck in mud or water im affriad of getting water all in the exhaust and the motor?? what do you think?? should i still do it through the side?

If you ever get stuck in mud or water over your exhaust, never turn the engine off. The exhaust pressure will keep the water/mud from heading up the exhaust into the motor. Ive had my exhaust submerged in water numerous times loading/unloading boats with the engine running and no problems.

You are totally fine having the tip out the side, only problem is mud/dirt build up on the tip. I vote for the oval tip!! :trophy:

Yeah. I think I'm doing oval tip out the side now :)
