MAFci Sytem, who is interested?

That is the whole idea behind what we are tryin to do. The MAF Customizer was designed a certain way for this reason. The dyno graph of the STi was on a car that had the prototype for 6 months, it actually made the same horsepower 6 months after the install.

I understand you guys are skeptical, these are some pretty radical claims for an intake. How can we prove it to you?

We also want to hear other things you would like for the car. We were thinking about a set of long tube headers, those should be worth some pretty good horsepower. What about a single turbo kit or a centrifigual blower kit. If we can get 15 people willing to buy these products, provided they make horsepower, we can get a go ahead on them.

You should really post this question over at yotatech.com.

Basically, you'll find that people will be interested in anything that gives them a decent power upgrade.

BTW, my last turbo had severe turbo lag. Hated it.

I would love to see, at least, the headers!!!

But, if a single turbo kit or blower kit was available, I know that you guys would get business!! I am willing to buy something like that!

Just look at the number of 4runners sold in the past two years!!!

i guess the only way you could prove the gains is if a member from this forum lends you their truck. i would if i lived nearby (i really wish i do).

i'm very interested in the products, that is why i'm expressing my concerns. i would love to see a turbo and headers.

i agree. first hand experience from a member woud make a strong impression. also, dyno and get [0-60]/[1/4 mile] times before and after the systems install.

i think the new tacoma's have the same v6 as the 4th gen's. that might expand your group of potential buyers if the engine and ecu setups are the same.
 
I have a SR5 V8 and I am interested in the intake and a blower. I can also act as the test subject the forum members are looking for. PM me for more info, and/or I will try to give you a ring.

I've got a V8 4Runner and I'm interested. In fact, I've been recently scouting around the find the best deal on the K&N Air Charger, but now I think I'd be willing to wait and possibly order from you folks...assuming the performance claims are true (and proved).

I'd also be interested in the blower or turbo...again just need to hear the results from a 4Runner owner.

That's a great point. The 2003/2004 V8 is the same engine in the Tundra, 4Runner, Sequoia, and Landcruiser. The 2005 is, of course, a different beast.
 
I would drop the cash right NOW on a proven intake/header combo!!! Come on guys, keep up the posting!!!
 
I've got an 04 v8, and I'd be interested if the price was right, it made the horsepower stated, was easy to install, and wouldn't void the warranty. That goes for the intake and headers. I'd also be interested in forced induction, especially now that Jeep has released the Hemi Grand Cherokee.
 
limited04, any other conditions? Just joking, I'm glad that people are really showing interest on these parts.

Intakes aren't hard to install. Headers on the other hand depend on the clearance around them. I haven't really looked hard at that area cuz I really haven't taken the time.

I hope that something is started.

so we've got, a turbo, intake, headers.....

what about an exhaust too? :D and maybe even an electronic boost controller to go with that turbo.

I guess I'm still pissed that TRD hasn't come back with the SC for our year. Since I had one on my 2k 4runner, I got a little spoiled, since I had all the items listed that I want for this truck, on my old one.
You're right, at least someones showing interest in the aftermarket world!
