She going to be treating my baby to a lot of Sand and Mud while in NC, also the bath and wax every month will be nice. Anyway, this is a couple pics of the 4Runner on Corolla Beach, NC (first time in 6 years ive been here, First east coast visit for the 4Runner)

Ha, good luck with the monthly wash and wax. Be safe and thanks for your service. We'll have to wheel in CO when you get back.

Man, I hate sand. But the beach does look inviting

Stay sharp over there. Look forward to hitting some trails with you when you get back.

Thanks guys for your support!

I hope to be back in Colorado one day to visit or retire. Trails are more inviting then the beach at times.

Im in Colorado Springs still enjoing the local fires :) . My wife has taken the rig and isnt looking back. She promises to treat it like a toy not a pavement princess while im gone :D

I "plan" to clean it up more
-Weather tech mats, SUPER wax and clay bar this thing, repaint silver and add a tougher paint also put the mud flaps back on and trim them to be flush with the body.

If she lets me (money lets me too)...
-Bud built skids (Full 5Pc), CBI rear bumper, full engine rebuild to clean it/gain some lost HP. TAKE PICS it on Europe ORV trails!!!!

Time to plastidip

Maybe one day my Ro-Ro can look like this. But for now I'm going to plastidip my grille because yours looks awesome.

Hey if your wife has any issue's with the runner while your gone I'm local to NC right in the middle really. Just PM me an ill be glad to help out how ever i can. I try to help out all the local T4r's so just throwing it out there

I'd hate to see such a good lookin runner get in the wrong hands over a little issue. (not talking about your wifes hands lol just any shop she might take it to)

I also have some trimmed mud flaps that i'm not using your more than welcome to have, I got them from Gaterose a few months back and never installed them he wanted to trade me for my untrimmed mud flaps... I think he wound up trimming them again lol. But i never installed them i just dont need them really so there urs for the taking

great looking truck. like that you got rid of most of the chrome. i like the look of the sport edition smoked chrome grill over the plain chrome. only question i have is have you had the truck inspected after painting the headlights? i want to do the mod but dont want to be rejected on my inspection for the painted headlights because after doing the mod they are technically not dot approved.

No issues with inspection, except the front tint isn't allowed in Germany so I had to remove it. When in doubt as around, think....the Corvette has the same type of headlights (they don't know if its stock or not) :tape: sorry for the late reply

Just finished reading your build, rig looks great! Hopefully you're getting short and can drive it again soon :driving:

Few more months, I will have my baby and start the mods once again. I think I will focus on making flow and have a cleaner look, LED lights, new black coated under body, other secret items :)

I'm curious, how does the vehicle drive at highway speeds with that armor bumper? And how are the Icon's on pavement? Yes, I am a noob

Great looking ride.

Great Thread!

Just read the entire thread here in school. Got me hooked from the start! Great thread! Probably going to mount my lights on my stock roof rack as soon as I get home!

If you change out that front bumper, I have first dibs.

Yes, I take hand me downs. :frog:

No real change, I still drive it like a Sport addition. She handles a little heavy but nothing bad. Im a speeder so 80 mph avg is no issue for the rig (even with those light :)). The Icon's work on and off road with no issue!
