Others have liked it but I have also heard many who have removed it. I feel that this exhaust design basis was noise and not power improvement therefore, I would spend a little more and get something else that is better engineered IMHO.

Tough question because each person has a different expectation on outcome, but I did some investigation before and after the Magnaflow adventure and this is what I remembered. The Borla and Magnaflow have similar outcomes built for noise because this is what the market is asking for (cheap & noisy). The TRD and JAOS are a little less noisy but the drone kicks in at a slower speed between 45-55 MPH. The Gibson is probably the best kit for noise but I don't know about performance. IMHO none of these exhaust will give you better MPG, the stock exhaust is already pretty efficient. My next step will be the same as I did with my mustang, a custom exhaust dual pipe starting with some headers. This will become pretty expensive but I feel this is the only way to increase performance and still control the noise to my liking using two mufflers. With the custom setup room, especially just under the footwell of the front seats and at the spare tire will be an issue. As for the parts selection I've not decided but there are several mufflers on the market that are computer engineered specifically for performance while controlling noise. They use baffles and plates to control drone unlike the cruder perforated pipes you typically find on the Magnaflow and Borla, this will be my starting point.

I know this is an old thread but I'm curious to see what you guys' expectations are. I've watched and listened to youtube videos of the exhaust (outside, inside with windows down, inside with windows up) and these exhausts don't seem loud at all to me. Yes they are louder than stock but that is what you are paying for in an aftermarket exhaust. It almost seems like some of you guys are wanting an exhaust thats only louder when you're at wide open throttle or something.

You just bought a magnaflow muffler and put it on in place of the stock one.
I have owned Magnaflow, Flowmaster and Borla exhausts in the past. Everyone on here complains about the sound being to loud inside. It is hard to compare what one person considers loud vs another so I will most likely give the Magnaflow cat back system a shot. Plus I like how it will help get rid of the stink.

Sure wish I had seen that thread before. A couple days ago I just had a Flowmaster 50 SUV muffler installed. I do like it a lot, but I would have purchased one of Dirtys mufflers instead. This guy really seems to know his stuff.
