I highly recommend folks play this vid on a desktop with some speakers. I think the impressive part of this vid is that it demonstrates the effectiveness of the helmholtz resonator doing its job to reduce drone in the problem rpms. Obviously it is a vid and there are limitations to what audio is captured and folks need to keep in mind the system won’t eliminate the drone completely. No aftermarket system will do that.
Will pick up my system today from performance coatings in Auburn Washington with a fresh coat of 2000 degree gray ice ceramic coat. Installation on the dyno tomorrow to see if it makes any power whatsoever.

Haha I’m not anticipating much if anything. Baseline dyno around 1130 tomorrow morning pacific. Then install. Then post install dyno. After that will see what the deck plate mod does.

After strapping down I was unable to disable traction control and VSD so the dyno didn’t happen. The exhaust install went mostly without issues. Minor modification was necessary to the rear bracket holding the tailpipe. Not a big deal and nothing Tristan couldn’t handle. Thank you @intecracing for the job well done!
The exhaust is moderate in terms of tone and aggressiveness. Growls at idle and revving the engine. Loud at WOT. The beauty is in the engineering of the Helmholtz resonator. Magnaflow did their research and tuned the resonator to reduce drone at 2000-2300 rpm as evidenced by [MENTION=63060]rickashay[/MENTION] video earlier. Overall the exhaust adds character to this 4runner and like the ceramic coated TRD headers... may outlive the truck. Actually... scratch that. Toyota after all!

Anyone getting tracking numbers from the 'January batch' of shipments?

Here is my timeline:
1. 12/9/2020 Ordered
2. 1/7/2021 sent email to SRQFAB asking for a tracking number/update
3. 2/8/2021 sent another email asking for an update
4. 2/12/2021 started the process of cancelling the order after speaking with Magnaflow
SRQ answered my inquiring emails promptly and stated both times that kits should be shipping that week but never did.
Magnaflow informed me that they fulfill their orders 1st and everyone else next. They have an order coming in Feb 18th and another early March. He said if I ordered through them (Magnaflow) I would probably receive it by Feb 23rd. He tried to look my order up with my SRQ order number and couldn't find anything. A friend of mine (and a member here) ordered from Magnaflow on Feb 4th and received it on Feb 11th. He was the catalyst for me to cancel and look for another source and the fact that I have an inspection coming up soon with a crack in my muffler. I'm not going to get the deal of the Group Buy but I can't wait any longer.
I'm not trying to throw shade on SRQ but merely stating facts.

....well, damn. I got a "this week", too. Hope SRQ didn't bite off more than they could chew and end up ruining their rep. Seen it happen to other online resellers.

So; wait a minute.
What you’re saying is that someone orders through the magnaflow site; that stuff goes out first; and a group buy someone might have done on a different site gets sent to the back burner?
I, too, ordered mine on 12-9-20; was told ‘beginning of the year’ 12-18; 1-22 they hadn’t shipped my kit yet; and Wednesday they still hadn’t shipped it.
Wondering if I should just say screw it and make my own?

I don’t think it’s SRQ; I think it’s magnaflow and them not having stock. Or them doing other stuff like sending individual orders out first.
It’s been 3 months for mine; kinda hoping it would show up now that I do allay have the 5-speed swap in progress.

Well, this thread has turned discouraging! I was doing gear oil changes the other day and noticed that my stock muffler has rotted through, which means I need to get a replacement figured out sooner rather than later. If Magnaflow can't meet the demand then I'll need to free up that money for something that I can do faster.
It's weird that people who placed their orders before others are still waiting. I wonder how they determine their hierarchy of GB customers...

That's exactly how the Magnaflow rep explained it to me. Whether he was correct or not, it's still been over 2 months since I ordered. I wasn't planning on the process to take this long and now I have to move on. It sux because it is (was) a hell of a deal! I mentioned earlier that I was floored when my friend ordered it on the 4th and received on the 11th (Feb)

I agree that it's probably not SRQ. But what I have trouble with them is communication. It would be nice if they were a little more proactive in keeping us posted. I have only seen reactive responses regarding this "Group Buy".

I agree. I still do not have mine and have been told that it would ship a couple different times, yet still have not seen anything.

Hey all, let me answer some of these questions from the MagnaFlow side.
1) Absolutely not an SRQ problem. This is a MagnaFlow supply issue more than anything.
2) The person that ordered directly from MagnaFlow did get his kit before you guys *only* due to an internal system error. The person whom you spoke with in customer service is correct most of the time. We send directly to our Ecomm customers before we fulfill a stocking order to a large distributor. However, in the case of this group buy, we need to fulfill your orders first. I blew this up on the MagnaFlow side to make sure it doesn't happen again.
3) The reason no one in customer service knows about your group buy. SRQ is facilitating this group buy through a large distributor, Premier. If you call MagnaFlow, they will see a Premier order, not an SRQ one. This may sound like a dumb structure, but at the time, it was the quickest method and the way to offer an aggressive discount. We will revisit this in the future.
4) Stock and shipping. I will have 40 units in a box this Friday 2/19. They will then freight ship to Premier's warehouse in Salt Lake City, and then ship to all of you. At that time, SRQ will provide tracking as soon as he has it.
Again, this is not an SRQ problem. MagnaFlow has been battling the supply side lately for Stainless Steel. Competing with Tesla and GE. And then throw lovely Covid on top and you get a disaster. So I apologize on behalf of MagnaFlow. But very very soon you will all have your exhaust.

Magnaflow was able to get 18 kits shipped out last week and via tracking it looks to be in Utah today. With that information, I feel that we should have tracking from Premier on 18 kits sometime between today and Wednesday.
When the first kits went out a month back they did not follow a certain pattern in terms of which kits went out. I have a call scheduled today with them to make sure that they start with the oldest orders and work their way up with the 18 arriving kits.
I'm sorry for such a delay on these kits, I wish I had control over the Magnaflow production schedule. We are already in the talks of going direct with Magnaflow to hopefully get 20-30 kits in stock at our warehouse so we don't have to rely on them for future orders.
