magnetic phone holder on air vent?

Has anyone used this or similar product on their air vent? I'm wondering if the clip that attaches to the vent fits.

Your link doesn't work, but I found the one anyways. With 500 some odd positive reviews on amazon I'd say go for it, if that's what you want.

I don't know if I'd use it. I like my phone and my AC too much.

In my central Texas humidity, I love my a/c too much to block a vent, and Austin is a hands-free town (no fone use while driving, only at stops) so I use a suction window mount type, works great, cheap on ebay/amazon. Luck!

I use this one, it's just a steel ball and a magnetic seat. It's simple and holds my phone in place over the biggest bumps (I have an iPhone 5). It's also great because I can now stick my phone onto the underside of a hood when I'm working on something, just don't forget it there. Also great for in the public bathroom, stick her to the wall and you won't drop it in the toilet.

Best part is its 20 bucks.

Downside is you have a little magnet stuck to the back of your phone or case and it won't sit flat on its back anymore.

If you want cheap and easy then I just put a piece of Velcro on the back of my phone case and a piece on my dash, under the air vent and to the left of the radio. It works extremely well with my IPhone 6 and had yet to fall off during off roading. $2 total.

This is the one I'm using, honestly a phone mount in the air vent of the 3rd gen is bad enough (but this one is small and so minimal and yet it does the same the big ugly ones that stick to the dash or window do (personal opinion)), I would not trust a magnet one.

Keeps the vents free also. The magnet is really tight. The phone has never slipped off once.
