Been having this squeaking noise, like coming from the interior. almost like two styrofoam pieces rubbing together. It has happens worse on bump roads. My friend and I who both have 17 4runner trd call it "the death squeak". It sound like its coming from the A-pillar on the passenger side or maybe in the dash. Does anyone know where this constant squeaking noise is coming from. Please help, its driving us nuts.

Mine was between the windshield and the trim around the wipers. Dealer put some kind of tape there and it mostly stopped. For now anyway.

Yep! Its that piece on the windshield. Pop it off, clean it, hit it with some WD40 Silicone spray, reinstall, and run a bead of the silicone spray along the rubber molding where it meets the bottom of your windshield (if anything's worth doing, its worth over doing.)

thank you all

Please report back if the silicone spray keeps your noise away. It might also be worth checking the two push-pin fasteners on either side of the cowl. Mine loosened up and a pair of new ones secured my cowl tight again. My noise has been gone for a month with the new fasteners. Double sided tape under the two fasteners or some kind of silicone/lithium grease is my next step if the noise comes back. Good luck.
