Make your steering wheel look new

Thought I'd share this with you guys. It's a huge pet peeve of mine when a steering wheel or shift knob is glossy from years of abuse.

Using a regular Mr Clean Magic Eraser like below, get a bucket of water.
- Get the sponge wet like you would for normal cleaning.
- Drape a towel over your seat/floor board and the steering column.
- Give it super light rubs with the sponge. It took me one wipe to get it back to new.
- Dry it off and check to see if it looks good. You can rub a bit through the leather if you're not careful. You won't remove any dye, so don't worry about that.

I will try that on wife's Acura's dashboard. She took it to a car wash a couple years ago and I've tried everything in the way of cleaners to get rid of the shine they put on the dash.

I'd personally recommend going with a proper leather cleaner and lotion for the seats. Seems to have done the trick on the wheel and knob but I'd be wary of using the abrasive cleaner pad on leather seats.

Nice swap Steve! Now you just gotta wrap the airbag cover with perforated leather for that factory look

I like the racing stripe too. Probably follow your lead but I've seen those YouTube airbag videos haha
