The last few months have been really busy for us, going try to get this thread caught up. I've got some stuff coming up too so stay tuned!
In October my wife and her team mate (Team Sugar High) competed in the first annual Rebel Rally. Do a quick google search if you want to know all the details of the event, but the short version is, its a 2000km, all women, 7 day navigation event that started in Tahoe and ended in San Diego. Navigation was done all map and compass, no electronics were allowed.
My wife and I road tripped up to Reno where she met her partner. Didn't get any wheeling done, but got to rub tires with some cool rigs, and do a little photography on the way home.
The Expedition Overland Tacoma and Xelles Racing Land Cruiser, very cool trucks and very nice people!

Before I left Reno I had a chance to meet up with guy I had talked to several times over the interweb. Very cool guy, and a real nice clean 3rd Gen. Check him out on Facebook and YouTube!

Besides that, I had a real nice quite drive home by myself! Having 3 kids, this was a nice break. I stopped a bunch along the way and did a little exploring, there are some really cool old mining towns along the 95 and worth the time to stop.

Unfortunately for Team Sugar High, they drove off a dune at Dumont on Day 4, completely destroying the front Dana 44. The Rally mechanics "straightened" it that day, it "survived" the 5th day, but was done by the 6th day. The mechanics ended up finding a Dana 30 they could put under the front so the girls could finish the Rally. Between all the penalty, and outside assistance points deductions, they fished 2nd to last, but they finished! Even with working on the Jeep till early in the morning and being up at 4AM to go, they kept a positive attitude and I couldn't be more proud of both of them. Next year is redemption year for them!
