Manual trip odometer broke

So I have a 96 with the manual (obviously) odometer/trip odometer.

The other day I pressed the reset trip button a little too hard after I got gas and only the tenths spot works now so I assume I broke one of the gears or arms.

Is there anyway to fit that or do I just get a new gauge cluster? They aren't expensive so im not opposed to doing it but at this point all these clusters are 20+ years old so I may just end up with another one that has the trip function broken. Any ideas?

I would say to probably just buy a new gauge cluster, due to the age of the car fixing it may not be worth your time. The glass in front of my gauge cluster is cracked, just waiting til the day it dies.... knock on wood. Anyway I think its best to just get new gauge clusters, you could probably find some cool ones too!

Yeah looks like I'll just buy a new one. Some go as cheap as 40 bucks and it seems worth it for that price. I figured maybe somewhere sold just the whole trip odometer unit that I could plug and play. Thankfully It takes like 5 minutes to change the gauge cluster
