Manufactured side tailpipe?

Does anyone know if anyone makes a direct fit side tailpipe that bolts to the muffler outlet pipe?

Nope. Go to an exhaust shop and throw $50 at them and get it done...

i had the same thought but have yet to find one. i guess you could go to a shop and have them make a batch and then sell them to pay for yours

If you crawl underneath and look at the resonator (I'm assuming you intend to cut it off) there's an exhaust hanger that you'll need to replace after the resonator is removed. You'll have to get a shop to weld one on. I guess you could probably just get some parts and bolt it all together but I'd see if a local welder could just fix it up for you.

You can probably find a side turnout at a local exhaust or parts shop (I know my local ones have various turnouts and exhaust tips). This same thing is on my to do list but the couple quotes I've received locally to cut off and weld on a turnout were pushing $200 (this was with a cheap exhaust tip too). I just laughed at their estimates and walked out.

Stupid question maybe but why does everybody here seem to want a side exit exhaust? Is it a off-road\departure angle thing?

Also, what does removing the resonator do? More power or better sound or? Does that effect emissions in any way?

Side exit helps with the exhaust fumes coming in the rear window and as you said, helps departure angle. From what folks have said it doesn't impact emissions but will add a small amount of exhaust noise but it's barely noticeable.
