I have a 2008 4Runner with the Navigation System. I ejected the Map DVD by accident and so I pushed it back in. The same way you would if you ejected a CD and put it back in right away. The unit never loaded the Map DVD automatically. I pushed it in all the way expecting it to grab the DVD eventually. It didn't. Then the panel would not close. I turned the 4Runner off and then back on. The panel then closed, but still wouldn't load the Map DVD that is inside the unit. Now, the unit acts as if there is no Map DVD present, has a Map DVD in it and will not open the panel for any reason - even to insert a music CD. I can't get it to load the DVD or eject it. It's completely jammed up. Does anyone know of a way to reset the thing or am I taking it to the dealer for a new Navigation System?
