Map Lights

Does anyone know how to take off the console at the top where the map lights are at? I tried pulling it by putting a flathead in there but it was really hard and I didn't want to break anything. I was going to install my V1 to a 12v source in there. Thanks for any help

Anyone here ever taken that dome light piece off, where the map lights are located? I didn't want to pull to hard because I didn't know if that was the correct way to take it off. Am I missing some screw anywhere? Thanks for any help

Unfortunately I won't be of much help, but I am looking to do the same thing. If you figure it out, can you take pics of the install?

Thanks Lee,
I installed the V1 to a wire coming off the sunroof thanks to your help. It didn't take an awful amount of time, bout 30 minutes. I am now V1 protected.
