My soon-to-be-wife had her camera on hand this weekend at a local motocross track so I was able to snap a few quick pics of my 06 T4R before unloading. Yes, I know she is dirty (the truck pervs..) but I usually put in 100-200 miles per day during the week and washing gets old. However, from the distance in most of the pics she does look amazingly clean... works for me!

The truck currently serves as my daily work vehicle and spends almost every weekend at various MX tracks and riding spots, along with bi-monthly trips to the Carolina coast and local scuba diving holes. After 45k miles the T4R has been a great vehicle so far!

Current Setup:
2006 4Runner Limited V8 4x4
Nautical Blue Metallic/ Stone
Navigation/ XM, RSCA, 3rd Row Seats
Old Man Emu (Front- OME885/ N140S & Rear- OME895/ N141), Spidertrax 1.25" spacers, 275/65R18 Cooper Discoverer STT (with full-size spare!), OBX pedals, Valor exhaust tip, Weathertech floor/cargo liners, 40% front tint, and one cheap azz flimsy oem brush guard that will stop even the most aggresive spider webs.

XenonDepot HID setup is on hand, but I have been too lazy to install. Next up is a nice set of sliders/ skid plates and some sort of mild but at least a little aggressive exhaust.

It was a very tight fit but I was thankfully able to fit the 275 spare up in there. As you can see in the third pic, it is pretty close to the rear sway bar but I haven't had any issue over the last 3 months. Keeping a full-size spare was important to me, so it was very cool when I found out it would work!

I did have to do a little trimming on both the right and left sides which included just the very bottom corner of both fenders as well. In case you are interested, my caster is set around the mid-way point on the cams for both sides. I coated all the wheel wells with that rubberized underbody coating, one can per wheel. It actually helped reduce a lot of the additional tire noise from the STTs.

Do you think it was worth getting rid of the Xreas for the OME ?

Very nice !! I hope to get a Honda Dual sport 650 this spring ( on/off road bike )
 
Wow....looks awesome. The look of the tires change the whole appearence of the truck. Id love to have mine look like that someday. Very nice!!

I picked them up for the cheapest I could find them for at $225 per tire, which is $900 for 4 or $1125 for all 5. It actually took several weeks to get them in because of some sort of "national backorder" but that was over 3 months ago.

Sorry I missed your question Falls. I did not have the Xreas to remove. However, I did drive around with the OEM tires for several weeks after installing the lift and was able to compare the OEM and OME suspension. I prefer a stiffer riding vehicle and the ride/ responsiveness was improved very much in my opinion. The stiffer spring rate really helped firm the truck up in daily driving, but didn't leave me with an uncomfortably stiff ride that deflected off every little bump. One of the biggest benefits was that it helped reduce body roll in the turns and nose-diving during heavy braking. Obviously the longer travel will also be a benefit off-road as well, but I do not plan to push it very hard off-road until upgrading the skid plates and installing sliders.

Very nice, love the look of the aggressive treads. Stance w/ wheel spacers is perfect. Do you have any flex pics, specifically the rear tire stuffed? Any rubbing?

Thanks bro, it still has the stock exhaust with the little valor exhaust tip. I plan to upgrade sometime soon, just not sure if I want to go with a full cat-back or just replace the can and have them run the valor tip out the side.

No off-road pics yet, but I have had it out twice at Uwharrie, which is a local ohv area. http://www.cs.unca.edu/nfsnc/recreation/uwharrie/uwharrie_off.htm

No real issue with rubbing anymore since trimming, but I don't push it off-road yet without sliders and no skids in place. Also keep in mind that these are 275 and not the 285s that many guys are running which are a little larger diameter.

I will get an occasional light rub if the wheel is cranked and I try to reverse it up a hill quickly. Trimming a little more of the front fenders would solve that, but I rarely reverse it up hills with the wheel cranked in my daily driving! :)

Next time we are out at Uwharrie I will make sure to take some pics.
 
Yes, understood, 275's with 18" factory wheels. I like the combo. I know you trimmed up front to avoid rubbing. What I was wondering was, does the rear rub while flexing. It looks pretty close just sitting there doing nothing.
