Hey guys, I am coming up on some spare time shortly and would love to go roading. Anybody interested in going on the first (3-4) or second (10-11) weekend of March? I am thinking Arrowhead or Big Bear area. This thread is just to gauge interest and hopefully get a group together!

I can't say for sure but the /SoCal/ section is pretty dead lately. Lots of people in the 3rd Gen section though.

I am really open to anything guys. Just trying to get some fun times in while I have the opportunity. And Brianmc2, I know what you mean. I am trying to breath some life back into so cal so to speak

Lets try to line something up for Saturday the 10th? I know El gringo loco started another thread for Lytle Creek but I am really open to anything. Anybody familiar with any fun trails?

Anza Borrego. I know about half a days worth of trails.

No knowledge of anything else except Pancake Rock. And I'm not going back up Pancake without at least 1 locker and some sliders.

Sat. the 10th or 17th are my only free weekends.

I would prefer Anza but willvgo wherever now that I have a CB and can talk with the group.

Well, I'm still down for Lytle Creek. It's not super close to San Diego, but it's not exactly close for me either. :thumb3:

I am in if I can get my truck fixed by then, I blew something electrical at the TDS safari over the weekend. It was not fun getting towed of in a sea of Jeeps!!!

At least I pulled him with my 3rd gen to the street where he waited for the AAA guys. It was some kind of electrical issue. I don't know if the push button ignition wasnt recognizing the fob being close or what but he would push the button and it wasnt even cranking to try to start.

Thanks for the tow Michael, sorry our stay had to be cut short. I hope you guys had a great time. Give us an update on the actual run when you get a chance.

The run was good, and we had a good time. We didnt have a great time because we were bummed for you and that you had to leave early. It just wasnt the same knowing that one of us had to go home with a non-functioning vehicle.
