I tried to get the people at the processing center to put my inspection stickers on a metal bracket that goes next to the license plate. I found out when I got down there to give it to them that it is illegal. I am thinking about doing it anyway but not sure about removing them now that they are on the bumper. I'm not sure if they are the type of sticker that is made to rip easily. Maybe another day with the hair dryer will tell.qs933 said:Looks good. I'm keeping my badges on because I don't really mind them.
One thing I keep thinking about, though, is the Hawaii safety inspection sticker on the rear bumper. I've noticed that some dealers (mostly Nissan and Infiniti) are placing the stickers on a metal plate that's bolted to the bumper, rather than sticking them to the bumper itself.
It's a minor mod, but I've seen at least one 4Runner with the safety sticker plate and it makes the rear bumper look "cleaner."

Unless someone knows a technique for removing stickers easily.
It took me about an hour and a half. I didn't wash the whole car since I had washed it the day previous. I just spot washed and waxed the areas I worked on. The most time consuming part was getting the thick adhesive off using Goo Gone.AlphaQup said:Looks nice n clean dude. How long did it take you to take all the letters off, cleaned, and waxed (the whole process)?
