Over the past 11 years I've owned Jenny, here's how she's changed and the places she's been. I love this truck and here's to many more years to come.

2003 Black V8 Sport Edition 4x4 (Jenny) - 270k

Suspension:
- Front: OME 885s
- Rear: Toytec Superflex (w/ 1x 1.5" Daystar spacer on driver side to correct for driver side lean)
- Bilstein 5100's (0 setting)

Wheels & Tires:
- 285/70/17 Nitto Terragrapplers
- Spidertrax 1.25" spacers
- Stock Sport wheels

Lighting:
- 2x 13" Blazer Combo LED bars on custom-built light bar
- 2x 2" Blazer LED Ditch lights on CBI brackets
- 8x LED Rock Lights
- DRL module added
- LED Reverse bulbs

Audio/Tech:
- 7" Pioneer AVH2300NEX w/ Apple Carplay
- 8" JL Sub w/ JL Amp

Always been a fan of camping, doing some winter car camping while Jenny was all stock.

After taking her up to N GA for a camping trip on the AT. Noticeable now how low the stock suspension sat.

Jenny's stock suspension compared to a newer TRD Pro...had me researching a lift ASAP.

But first, one more camping trip with friends, turning the back into a sleeping platform...worked great and kept me dry!

Since I ride YZ's with my dad, picked up an aluminum double dirt bike carrier off Craigslist for a swinging deal. Just plugs right into the stock hitch which supports the tongue weight since the bikes don't weigh much. Had a blast riding and actually rode pretty well. You can definitely tell she's riding low in the back on the stock suspension.

Coming home from riding a guy in a turn lane decided he didn't want to turn any more and turned right into me as I was passing straight by him...wrecked the hitch carrier (bikes are ok) and dented/damaged my right side. Silver lining was that the running board actually saved Jenny from getting damaged worse.

Took a family trip out west to Sedona and had some fun in a rented, lifted Jeep. This was the final nudge I needed to pull the trigger on a lift for Jenny. Literally as the trip was winding down was ordering the parts online lol.

After considerable research, ordered Bilstein 5100s (set at 1.75 setting) with Moog Coils all around. Stoked to get this on and let Jenny stretch her legs!

New suspension on (replacing XREAS) and looks & rides amazing! Brought the front end up substantially (Pic 1 before, Pic 2 after). This is the way Jenny should have come from the factory and technically, I think this matches the stock ground clearance measurements on the TRD Pro 4Runners. Highly recommend!

first off , great job on the suspension work.
now zip tie the x rears lines out the way, and also readjust the headlights height, it should be lowered.

also you might want to consider adding airbags, since it looks like you load the back down with the extra weight.

Thanks man and actually did both! Yeah the Bilsteins ride super smooth, especially under extra weight. Airbags sounds sweet but expensive, would be curious to see what adding something like that would cost...

its only 100 bucks i think.

i got the firestone brand from sdtrucksprings.com
uses a compression type install, the airlift brand uses clamps. both brands carry lifetime warranty i think. also i like the firestone install, just have a clean straight cut on hose and insert in fitting, then a small pull to make sure its in place.

Added my 8" JL sub and amp + a universal, cut to fit rubber trunk mat + some essential safety/recovery gear (First Aid kit, Cartman Jumper cables, tow strap (stowed) and fire extinguisher with industrial velcro on the mount).

Other interior mods include a JVC DVD Bluetooth Headunit with an aftermarket back-up cam. Sounds great with the stock speakers and JL Sub.

Took Jenny out to the mountains for some testing - she rides amazing and flexes well!

Thanks! Yeah I'm finishing out my 265 Nitto Terra grapplers and plan to got to at least 275. Honestly thinking about replacing the Moogs with some larger coils so I can fit 285s...more lift is addictive. Not sure about swapping the wheels, like my stock ones but maybe if I come across the right deal.
