Nice wheels! Be careful painting them. Painted wheels never seem to hold up as good as a powdercoat or the OEM finish. Wish I could score some good stuff on craigslist around here...

Thanks man, I'm happy with the pick up for sure. I plan on painting them for a few reasons, affordability and the ability to touch them up. On my current LC wheels which are powder coated, there's a few spots where the powder coat is starting to chip and getting it fixed isn't as easy. The 4Runner won't be driven for the next week or so, so in that time, I'll be able to allow the paint to properly cure and harden.

Paint is Done

This afternoon, I picked the 4Runner up from paint and it looks like a whole new vehicle. I'm extremely happy with the paint job and happy that this is all working out in my favor. I was a little nervous about the shop being able to match the color but they did an outstanding job. The blending from the fender to both the hood and the door are spot on. They did the fender on the inside of the door and the hood so you can't tell anything ever happened. Flare should be on in the next couple of days.

I think that all the time, especially with this happening. I did order a few samples from Monstaliner and may try and match the body color. Cheaper and I think their color, "Outbreak" will match pretty well. Here's all their colors.I've got an extra flare so I'll be experimenting this summer.

Maintenance

So [MENTION=80933]4x4runner2002[/MENTION] spent the last several day over helping with the 4Runner, even when I had to go to work. Safe to say a lot got done.
New thermostat and gasket are in (16325-62010 and 90916-03075). Coolant has been flushed. New temperature for that looks to hold around 190 with heat or AC blowing.
New Engine Cooler O-Ring and Washer Seal are in (90210-22001 and 90301-67004). The old O-Ring was pretty flat and was leaking. That should solve the problem.
Oil Change done.
The new OEM Steering Rack and ITRs are in (44250-35042). No leaking. My OTRs were in worse condition than expected and we really needed to hammer them out so there's new ones on order (45046-39335 and 45047-39215).
I ordered the wrong brake pads for the Tundra Calipers. I have the 199mm instead of the 231mm pads (04465-35290 NOT 04465-35280). Hoping to get that sorted early this week. I'm also waiting on brake lines and lug nuts from Wheelers. When all that's in, the brakes should be buttoned up.
The new wheels have been primed and hit with one coat. I really like the color. Should have plenty of pictures this week.

Maintenance

[MENTION=80933]4x4runner2002[/MENTION] came by again today to help out a ton. The Tundra Brake Upgrade is officially installed as are the Outer Tie Rods (45046-39335 and 45047-39215). The Rack and Inner Tie Rods are put in last week and I didn't order Outers at the time. 4Runner is back together and derivable. Alignment is off but I'll have it done tomorrow, as with mounting the Konigs. Threw on some Spidertrax up front to clear the TBU with the LC wheels but the Konigs will clear so they'll be off again.
B&M trans. cooler has been ordered and will be doing that in the upcoming weeks.
Will have pictures tomorrow.

I have the same MJT fuse box mounting plate. How did you decide what Blue Sea fuse box to run? I have yet to fully look into it, but knew that I wanted to go that route. Is it as simple as figuring out how many extra items you want to run and picking a box to accommodate? The pieces that are mounted to the sides, are those just for cleaner installation? I wanted to get something to organize the electrical install for my winch, PIAA fogs, ARB twin air, and maybe a few other items. What say yee?

Konigs will hopefully be on by the end of the day. If the LC wheels cleared the TBU without spacers, I'd definitely be keeping them. I think they have such a timeless look to them.

As far as the MJT mounting plate, I decided to run the one with the negative bus because I wanted all of my wiring from different to be together instead of having them connected to a negative or ground at a different location. There's 12 slots, more than I need but this way I have more room ever will need and it does no harm having extra, blank spaces. This way, I can also wire 6 accessories to one side of the fuse block, instead of it being 3 and 3 on a smaller block. Something I think looks a little more neat.

I decided on the two terminal blocks on the side because the holes were pre-drilled and I wanted to fill them. (I think) You can run them as ground blocks as well so I will be running my grounds through there as I add more things. My Rigid's aren't run through a relay and therefore the relay doesn't need to be ground but the PIAAs are. When I reinstall my bumper, I'll likely wire the relay ground to one of the terminal blocks.

I actually picked [MENTION=135677]michaeljtomey[/MENTION]'s brain Here in his build threadabout some of the wiring. Some of his stuff may make more sense to you as well.
[MENTION=116467]Rock_Rat[/MENTION] wire's his with a terminal block as well, post's starting Here in his build thread. Mike goes into great detail in his and I'll end up wiring mine similar to his this summer with all new different colored wiring and switches.

I am by no means good at electrical so only take my advice as a grain of salt. I've redone my wiring multiple times and learn a little more every time but am by no means knowledgeable in the subject.

Mine are along the same lines but slowly getting better haha. After redoing my wiring a handful of times, I'm slowly feeling a little more comfortable with it but I still don't know enough.

Here's some pictures of the new wheels on. Was rushed to head to work so they aren't all that great. Feels good to have something balanced and aligned. First time in a long time that I've seen all green (well yellow, they were low on ink) on an alignment sheet.
Dropped a little bit of gold paint on the calipers on top of the red, why not.

All is pretty much buttoned up, just need the skids back on and to get the fender flare painted and put on.

I like the wheels. A friend of mine has some level 8 mk6's that I'm trying to get my hands on for free from his totaled tacoma. Unfortunately the truck is impounded at the moment and no telling if we'll be able to snatch them off when it's released. You still using the spacers?

The MK6s would look good on yours. I've come close to ordering them quite a few times. I'm surprised how light these Konigs are.

Ditched the spacers. The back spacing on these is enough where they aren't too tucked into the fender yet they clear the Tundra brakes with no problem.

What'd you put on the new one? End up selling the 4th gen?

If you need a hand, you know how to reach me. I'll introduce you to my buddy Zach, he's been helping me out big time with getting all this done. Definitely wouldn't have gotten so much done without his help.

Had a lot of work get done and a little more planned for this summer but then I'm pretty much done for a while besides some minor things.

I just did a simple 2.5" spacer lift with the 5th gen trail edition wheels and 31 duratracs. Nothing special for now. I did sell the 4th gen, but right when I was getting around to selling it, the rear main seal went out. It was a pain having to change that just to sell it but at least I have the garage to get it done. I rarely need help but I never mind extra hands. Next time I have a project I'll give you a shout. The more the merrier.
