I just bought a prinsu rack and I wanted to order maxtrax recovery boards but not sure if I should order the kit to hold them Or is there a better way?

I'm still awaiting my rack from prinsu, but I've done this research already.

The first post has links to a bunch of different ways to mount various items to a prinsu rack. The maxtraxx mounting pin set does not fit in the t slots because they're spaced too widely apart. You would have to make a bracket. I do believe I saw on prinsu's Facebook or Instagram page somewhere that they have a plate coming out where you can mount stuff like the maxtraxx pins and other stuff to a plate they built. I don't see it on their site but if I found it I'll post.

EDIT: I found it:

I just use trusty Zip Ties

I don't have a prinsu rack - but IIRC they're made from 80/20 extrusion. So pretty much any t-slot brackets or bolt should work. Just buy a pack of t-slot nuts and bolts/washers the correct length and you should be good to go. You'll probably never use the maxtrax, so taking them on/off isn't really a big issue.

Use some angle aluminum and four 1/2"x5" carriage bolts. $14 at Home Depot will get you a custom mounting system for your Prinsu.

Just adjust your cross bars to the right distance (mine are mounted length-wise), buy four carriage bolts (1/4" x 3") and wing nuts. Done!
