Some of you may know I had the opportunity to work very closely with a local teardrop trailer manufacturer. They would love to have a "launch" party for their first ever built "RECON" teardrop which I now happily own.

It will be held at their sales location around 2:00pm-???

They will be providing burgers and/or hot dogs AND BEER! All free of charge to our T4R community. This will be a great opportunity to meet others on the forum and learn about teardrop trailers. If you're in the market, these guys are one of the best companies to work with.

Because of the food and drink being provided, I would like to give them a reasonable head count. We don't want to run out of food (beer)! Please reply to this thread with the possible number in your party.

I hope to see you there! And I would love to meet some new faces too!

I would love to come check these out. Count me in. I will probably have my fiance and i plus our son. And possibly my grandfather with his custom fj40 and a buddy of mine with a 3rd gen.
 
Hopefully I have the day off so I can come, that's in my neck of the woods. If not are you planning on it going into the evening like around 7-8?

I'm not sure what time it will end. I don't think TeardropsNW is going to host an evening event. However, I don't think they'll mind if we "hang" around after hours. They have quite a bit of space for us to "loiter" hahah.

I am considering staying at Silver Falls State Park for the evening. It's about 45mins away from TeardropNW's sales location. If there is enough interest in that part, I'd be happy to reserve a couple of campsites ahead of time. It actually looks like a great place to camp and explore (on foot unfortunately) and I'm a little disappointed that I would only be able to stay for just one night.

Looks like good fun, I think I might need to check this out!!

Silver Falls is an awesome place for camping and there is an off road trail that I used to wheel with my old Baja bug back in the 80's. It is on the left just before the North parking lot. It is N. Fork road. Not sure if it is still accessible but it use to be a decent off road spot.

Ducmonsta, Thanks for setting this up, I'll be there with my wife and count me in on the list for any local meet & greets!
 
I don't know if i'll be able to make it or not. Healing is going really slow, snail pace slow. Looks awesome and just making me more jealous. Grats on the purchase and I bet your trailer would be the perfect thing for the overland trips I have/used to do.

Bright side is, you won't have to move too much to hold that burger and beer!
