Mine is completely stock! You are set up better than you think.

Note: Mine is the 21 year old 2nd gen. All I did was put good tires on it and heavy duty OEM replacement shocks from the parts store.

Spur of the moment. There's a little playground off B street near Ft. Carson. We'll let others know next time. It's mostly just some hills and bumps, a creek and a big mud pit. Good place to practice driving skills. In several of the vids, that is I-25 in the background. I'm probably gonna go again next Wednesday. Or I may go out to RAM offroad park if anyone wants to join me. (Bring a winch. I get stuck.)

"Bring a winch. I get stuck." LOL! You sound like the guy who, when asked what parts he brings, said he just travels with guys that have the same parts on theirs that he would need! I have no doubt you'll have your own winch before too long, FOG. The next time I head through your beautiful area, I'll have to give you guys a shout and hook up for some fun--I'm in SD, but loooove CO!

You can join without a 4Runner. Check out the thread on the 4th Gen section about a meeting on 2-11-12. Should be fun and most vehicles will be stock.
