here is my rig as of now.
i am a jump in with two feet kind of person so when i bought this 1997 toyota 4runner SR5 i thought i would do a little mod here and there nothing serious. sense then my ideas i am having to do with the 4runner are starting to get out of hand, but this is what i have done so far in order.
we will start from the first time i took a photo of it, on a road trip with my dad (who is in the car) going to my grandpa's to help him move some stuff.
most of the time i use my truck to drive around town and on dirt roads only a few times a year and lots of snow in the winter
i also put some sups in, i started with two 10" sups and then added one more
i replaced the sups with some better ones
and put a bigger and better amp 1000 watt rms mono JL audio and i made the sub covers with some aluminum rods and some di noc 3m
at this time i did the big 3 wire upgrade and man did it need it, i even felt some power increase
i have so many wires going to my battery it is getting a little scary
i did not like the sun faded fake wood trim so i sanded it a bit and...
and with lots of time and about $80 worth of dinoc 3m you get..
then one day trying to find parts at the auto junk yard i found this brush bar on a land rover lol
i made a wood spacer becouse the 4Runner has a wider frame then the land rover it was on did, it is mounted better then you can see in the pic now
i then got the idea of taking the running boards off, this is it with them on
and with them off
