I think he was referring to the 4runner flip key fobs. They have been teased for the last 6 months but no release date has been set while a lot of other products are being released with little wait times.

Ahh right

Having done a little industrial design, I can say that doing it by yourself is hard work, printing makes it faster to rapid prototype but it still take a lot of time and test prints to get things all to work, the scaling, how easy does it scale? It is an order of magnitude faster than it has ever been but it still take a lot of time and effort.

I got mine ordered before they sold out. It's shipped already, just got the tracking number.

The fuse box in the engine bay is pretty tall already, I know there's at least an inch of clearance inside at most spots.
