What caused the wheel to crack?

Sorry to hear about the LBJ scenario. Hopefully you get it sorted.

yea, the supercharger make it driveable!

I'm slowly updating the pictures, the LBJ incident was june 2016.

I slid sideways down a snowy/icy hill at five mile pas and smacked right into a rock, it was January 2016 and I'm actually still using that wheel and have put it through a whole other set of tires and aired out dozens of times without any issues!

Few weeks went by on the rebuilding process, new cv, new LBJ, new LBJ bolts with blue loctite torqued to 59 ft. lbs., new camburg uniball, new tie rod and a ton of work and she was finally road worthy enough to take on another trip!

Skyline drive was the destination, here in Utah.

Very awesome trail system!

Oh yeah, I also go a new swingout bumper! :first:

Damn inner tie rod didnt get quite the ammount of ummffss it needed, so it decided to come unthreaded while climbing up a 30 degree incline up the side of a mountain.

Oh well, you live and learn!
