Hey all.
Wanted to check in. I've been trolling the forum for quite some time and decided to finally become a member.

I own a millennium silver 2001 4runner SR5 4WD auto with just over 135k. I bought this from the original owner.
This is the second 3rd gen I've owned. So far, I'm really not a fan of the VSC system on the truck. Other than that, I love the thing.

I fell victim to the pink milkshake recently, which unfortunately lead to a transmission rebuild..
It's been a few weeks since the rebuild now and she runs great once again.

My only mods so far include a Tru-Cool external tranny cooler (rad is bypassed), bug, sun and window visors and yellow fog bulbs.
Next up is DRL disable, fog light mod, 231mm Tundra rotors and calipers, and a custom memory foam elbow pad on the drivers door.

I will be upgrading parts as things start to go.

Glad to be here and I'm excited to learn more about my truck.

Sucks about the milkshake, but atleast you have it fixed now.

Also, add Andymod 2.0 to that list of yours if you dont like the VSC system..

One more thing, can we get some more info on this "memory foam armrest"? Very interesting..

Ripcord- Your truck was truly the truck that made me decide to join. I read through your build thread a few times. My truck is identical to yours minus all your hard work in upgrades.
I've been reading the 2.0 mod thread. I kinda like what the TRAC has to offer, so I may just do the original andymod.. i really don't know yet. Maybe both.

I will do a write up on the elbow pad when I get time to make a mock version. My vision for such a pad looks great in my head, but my actual building skills may not match my vision!
